Additions to the Fleet 1024 429 Technica Ltd

Additions to the Fleet

Earlier in the year, due to an increasing order book, the decision was taken to increase the size of the fleet.  This is part of our commitment to provide the best environment and tools for our staff.  Our ambition is to grow the business by delivering excellence and we recognise that this can only be achieved if we provide our staff with the means to do so.  To this end we have added three new vehicles to the fleet.

It is exciting times at Technica as we continue to use our success to reinvest in the business and attract high calibre additions to the team.  We firmly believe in generating an upward spiral of success.  Our values are based on Teamwork, Hard work, listening to our clients and a real desire to improve all this is helping to deliver our plans for growth.  We have gone through a major transition over the last year or two following an intensive review of the business; we have challenged many of our beliefs but have reaffirmed our commitment to our vision;

Jeans for Genes 698 465 Technica Ltd

Jeans for Genes

Sadly, since last year we have had to say goodbye to our charity champion, Jen Atkin, as she has moved on to new challenges (and modelling assignments!).  Jen had been a real driving force in raising money for a number of worthy charities in her time with us and we are determined to carry on her good work.

To that end the staff at Technica donned their denim on Friday 22nd September and raised a worthy £87 on the day, slightly pipping last year’s amount.

Jeans for Genes Day is the annual fundraising campaign for Genetic Disorders UK, the national charity that supports individuals and families affected by a genetic disorder.

Monies raised on Jeans for Genes Day fund the work of the charity and provide grants to organisations for projects that aim to transform the lives of children with genetic disorders.

It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder and therefore 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year.
